Pedantic and wrong. Democracy is a balance between the will of the majority and the rights of the minority. Democracies can have constitutions. Stop getting your information from people who want you to have no political voice.

What gives you human rights? The Constitution and the Bill of rights or democracy? In a pure Democracy you only have the ever changing rights that the majority votes in, not permanent human rights and liberties. If the majority decides that they want to take away rights from certain groups, they can if there is no binding their actions to the constitution or similar.
