In this brilliant dramatised series we meet the man, his family, and the colleagues who supported him through years of illness, isolation, agonizing self-doubt and religious crisis. We gain a glimpse into the courage and tenacity it took to change the way we understand our world and our place in it.

This is obviously a fantastic production. Unfortunately, if it ever gets aired in the U.S. it will be on PBS and those who really need to see it won't see it. They will be too busy watching Dancing with the Stars or Survivor or some such dribble.

Damn, I got goosebumps watching this EPIC trailer, I am sure that the mini-series is going to be equally if not more exciting.

@TheDreamMechanic the Darwin and Huxley families were very close especially in their study of genetics and evolution of course they would link the two in this title PS I'd hardly scientific fact propaganda, if anyone puts out propaganda it's religious fanatics who are concerned more with getting their own way than educating anyone

@RhondaH That's why I stay away from TV. I go online and watch Cosmos, National Geographic, Nova productions, and among other things (even Star Trek). But I hate the unintellectual vomit that's on TV now.
