  • i don't understand why darcy flexes his hand after helping elizabeth onto the carriage. why does he do that?

  • kayte64: I personally feel it is because very little touching was usually permitted in this time period, so even a small (skin on skin) gesture was considered a big step. :) That's what i fell anyway. x

  • the editing was brilliantly done and the music , the song you have chosen was absolutely appropriate to punctuate the "moment".I love it!

  • mbhcsf : Thankyou so much for your lovely comment. That is exactly what i was going for as it's such a poignant moment. *contented sigh* it's so great when others appreciate the structure of a video, so thanks again. (^^,) x

  • Dear Seduff,

I'd just like to ask... How did you upload this video on the internet in a way that you could provide a link of it(the same video but with such good quality unrivaled by the youtube version of it) to others? I'd really like to know how...coz I'm wishing to share a certain vid of mine(in better quality) to miss papocheeks...

Hoping for your reply as you soon as you may be able...

    Thanks and Godbless,

    -JV-

  • jvranopa: Hi, I'll send you a PM. :)

  • This is so beautiful, so soft and ethereal. I love how the music is so gentle and lyrical, and how you match the transitions and clips to that softness. This is truly a feast for the eyes!

  • I love this video the song fits so well and how you did the video was perfect! thank you<3

  • Nicely done. When I first saw this version, I didn't think Mr. D was handsome at first but the longer it went on the more appealing he got. Interesting how life works like that isn't it? :) Thank you for all the work and talent you put into these vids. As my gift in exchange have you seen the Indian version called, "The Bride and the Prejudice?" It's wonderful. Musically as well as the acting. I've shown it to my teenage students and even the boys are impressed. :)

  • This is truly a beautiful and touching video. I am a huge Jane Austen fan, Pride and Prejudice being my favourite. I loved the 1995 adaptation and was more, let's say, hesitant toward this one. But, needless to say, I soon fell in love with Mathew McFayden nearly as much as I had Colin Firth. This video was breathtaking, honestly. Thank you for it.

  • Having now downloaded the song and knowing what the original sounds like...let me say, awesome job placing a repeat of the beginning in the middle so that we could get that beautiful voice over!! Well done!

  • Gorgeous! Thank you for another fantastic video. :)

  • That I believe was the intent of the directors in this instance

  • I can't believe I haven't seen this before. It is really beautiful!

  • Very lovely!! I love Matthew Macfadyen as Darcy!!! Thank you for this!
