Pilgrimage to the Cavern Club, Liverpool England

Watch as we make our way to the Cavern Club in Liverpool England... a 30 year wait for me. This video captures our trek from the tube station in Paddington to just barely making the train to Liverpool from the Edgeware Station – and finally to our exhilaration of finding Mathew Street and the famous Cavern Club. This video captures all the wonderful sites and tributes to the Beatles along the way. It truly was a dream come true. For anyone out there who wants to feel the spirit of the Beatles - visit the Cavern! It is such a magical place.....The video is set to the music of the Beatles from “Live at the BBC”.

Hello xscouse2000: We were there Friday - September 26th 2008 - and the Cavern had just opened their doors for the day! Were you there at that time? We had so much fun - it's a wonderful place!!!!!

@sergiocable good.....if you ever do come to Liverpool and have a night out in Liverpool town centre make sure you stay with friends....don`t get me wrong Liverpool has great clubs and pubs so the night life is great just be careful not to end up wandering around the town centre late at night on your own

@sergiocable maybe not but I still wouldn`t go to Liverpool town centre for a night out on my own......the majority of Liverpudlians feel the same way.....since the Beatles Liverpool has become shithole because of all the dickheads who fight, take drugs and commit crime.....people have been beaten up and robbed outside the Cavern Club......Liverpool is a horrible nasty place at night....I know I was born and bred here in Liverpool

see those steps in the Cavern Club in this video I`ve seen fights on those steps and it wasn`t very pleasent to wittness......I`m sorry but the Cavern Club is a shithole.

To all you people who are saying Liverpool is a great place yes only of a day time....at night time its one of the most dangerous places in the world its crime riddled.

@sergiocable yes Liverpool is a great place to live but I would never go to Liverpool town center on my own for a night out.....Liverpool town centre at night is dangerous....you could be beaten up, mugged or even killed....a couple of years ago a body was found in the gardens behind St Georges Hall

Its not a nice place Liverpool town center where the cavern club is.....its ok during day time but nighttime its a dangerous place.....full of drunk and drugged up people.....you can be beaten up in Liverpool town center and yes it can be outside the Cavern Club at nght....yes the Beatles came from Liverpool but Liverpool now is a shithole full of people who want to fight when they`re drunk or drugged up
