Thanks for the opinion on jaw surgery. I'd much rather go w/out it, so lets hope everything goes well. I've heard some stories of it changing the whole structure of the face. I've also heard that someone had to get ortho before AND after surgery. Theres always the fear of having future problems w/ it, so idk!!

@boredaswut yep, yours is done growing too. i think it depends on what type of overbite it is, like if its more of a jaw alignment, or just teeth alignment. when i started invisalign, he said that he'd be able to fix my overbite, but just not all the way. my teeth are almost perfectly straight now, but my jaws just dont line up! im not sure what your case is, but maybe your jaws are aligned correctly, and its just your teeth that are creating the overbite? ill be talking about it in my next vid!

i have an overbite and im going to get invisalign.. did they give you elastics for your treatment? my ortho said he can fix the overbite but im scared it might not be fixed and i would have to get jaw surgery..

@boredaswut For my case, it was already too late, because my jaw is done growing. The elastics wouldn't have done anything for me. :( If your ortho is confident that he'll be able to fix it, trust him... they know what they're doing! Luck is on your side!
