The VERY FIRST notebook computer came two generations ahead of this one. The POWERBOOK 100, came out for a very short time, at or about at the same time as the big white LAPTOP versions of the SE and SE/30. The original notebook was smaller and more powerful than the one shown here, it was produced for Apple, by SONY.

@jojo5798 True, but it was during this time that Apple has a huge downfall. If you don't know too much about Apple you'll be surprised on how much Steve Micromanaged.

@jojo5798 Actually Steve Job had no influence on this computer. He actually was fired after the first Machintosh. During this time I think he was working at Pixar. It wasn't until the iMac did he return to Apple.

Wow, a fully featured 16MHz 68000 with up to 8Mb of RAM and a 640x480 B&W display! I gotta get me one of those! lol
