What a run down memory lane! I always thought it was "fool, aren't you?" but "slow" would seem to make more sense. "Floyd Centaur" was a great release from hard academic effort during my university days and almost had a personality of its own. If you tilted it, it would say "no class, human".

does the game really make that electricity sounding noise at the beginning of the vid or did you just add that in because it is pretty much the coolest thing i have ever heard

My Centaur has been completely built from the ground up by High End Pins!

@markzzr This is what everyone else hears but I always hear "shrewble".

Nice Pinball machine you have there,I have a same pinball, just my is a Centaur II and it needs a little restoration!
Greetings from Croatia!
First played this machine at Kingston Poly (now uni.), not sure it was a "release from hard academic effort " so much as a major distraction from studying, especially as it was in the SU bar. ;-).........my fellow student Alan spent many hours pissed/asleep under it...somehow!

We also had this in our house when I was a kid and I always heard the voice say "shrewble, aren't you?" but no one else heard that. What is he saying!? You can hear it at 2:51, 3:23, 3:26. Screwball?

I believe it's "Slow aren't you"........................when you're too slow in changing lane lights.

My family has this machine, too bad it's getting too hard to keep in correct working order.

I agree totally. I've had to source the parts from all over the planet (and build some bits myself).
