No comparison between these two doyens . In some songs , mainly in 60s and early 70s - Susheelamma dominates while Janaki amma dominates in late 70s and 80s songs . But both are wonderfully talented . Susheelamma has a unique voice and Janaki amma has a beautiful expression - as per words of SPB in the show where Susheela trusts first award went to Janaki . Such great ladies gifted with such great voices, brought back memories of the golden era. We were very lucky to have had them sing in tamil films for so long and even more lucky to have them still around. What a pity that they are hardly heard nowadays.....
