Filmed on May 22, 2011 at the Bedford Park Boulevard station on the IRT's Jerome Avenue Line (4-train.) On this day the New York Transit Museum ran a fan trip with the post-World War I Low Voltgae (or Lo-V) subway cars on the aforementioned line. Here we have the 4-car Lo-V consist passing by the station on the middle, or express track with 5292 acting as the lead motor.

  • I love the horn these Lo-V trains have.

  • Except for their slightly lower celestory roofs and no top headlight, they are otherwise identical to the original 1907 Market St. "EZ Access" cars in Philadelphia.
