Dave Wesley and Steve Egbert from Clubface Golf explain what causes a slice and provide expert step by step instructions on how to correct golf your slice in this 7 part series. The basic reason is that the clubface is open to the path it is travel-ing on at the moment of impact. This in turn puts slice spin on the ball causing the ball to curve to the right

  • @willrock241. Thanks for the advice, I will see what happens. I do enjoy the game no matter what. The trouble is I am forever buying the drinks for losing, because I keep looking up, that in itself should be enough to cure me!!

  • @bbcisrubbish keep your eye on the ball, and focus on your club passing through it. after the club passes through the ball, have your friend tell you where it went, because you will not be chasing your ball, you will be looking at the area of contact. idk just a thought good luck and enjoy the game

  • Is there a video to show how to stop looking up?

I have been told, but it is very rude and painful.

I wish I could break this habit.

  • Saved my game. Thank you so much very very happy. Thanks a million!!

  • This is an excellent tip. It cured my slice completely. I can now even draw the ball sometimes.

  • Great grip tips.

  • Thank you for this its great

  • Wow! I had an "Eureka Moment" after viewing Dave's first two "Correct Your Slice" videos...I immediately went to the golf course and played 12 holes (twilight). I had awesome results. Just these two videos alone corrected my bad slice. I did manage to slice the 10th hole (due to poor grip placement). But wow...thanks Dave for the excellent videos! This was the first "how to" video I've watched that explained the mechanics of why slicers slice. Highly recommended!

  • I just came back from the range and tried these tips.......excellent. Great video

  • he said squirt Gun! haha nice save.... good video
