Reading an article about SNSD, I find this group is the best in japan. I think the idol-curture is a very distinct difference between korea and japan. And I think J-idols have its own charm.

@jualkyn I lived in japan 1 year and I can tell you that in tokyo you only see things of AKB nothing of SNSD, AKB is the most popular band in japan

@nkdbd2412sone how is there a very distinct difference? I mean I know there is a diff but I don't think its THAT big. Koreans love the cutsey, pretty , innocent girl look too...japan just pushes it overboard and makes it exceedingly cute (whether or not one likes it is their preference). Personally I think korean and japanese girl groups have their own charm and are good in their own way but SNSD is really popular in japan. AKB48 may be more popular still though but i duno
