Etude nr.1 - Heitor Villa-Lobos

Study in E-minor.
Thank you Alex for the fingering for the legatos... I did not lower the G one octave (i play it on fret 12, 3rd string), and that's where I messed up this time, so from now on I'll play it exactly like you suggested! Apart from that I think this version is OK even though I need to "clean up" the arpeggio and maybe play a "notch" faster. It sais "Allegro ma non troppo", while I play "moderato"?

Yo también..me too!)...but I'm fed up of practising for hours every day just to play faster, so instead I quit playing these pieces....Now I play for fun... and that's a lot more fun:)

what fingering do you use for your left hand? i use pipipmiamaiapipi. It seems hard to achieve the necessary speed with it, though. Any comments welcome.

thanks... I use the same fingering, simply because it's a very good exercise for arpeggios even though it gets faster just playing pipipipipipipip :)

Well I posted a comment here several days ago, but it seems to have vanished! Maybe it never got here. Anyway, here are my comments (again?).

Maybe you don't realise it, but you play bar 22 four times, and it should only be played twice (the bar before all the slurs).

On the right hand, (sorry, your left hand) the fingering I was taught was pmiaimiamaimimim, which I thought might interest you. It's a good exercise anyway. Nicely played though.
