Fontana di Trevi - Rome Holiday 2009

The Trevi Fountain (Italian: Fontana di Trevi) is a fountain in the Trevi rione in Rome, Italy. Standing 25.9 meters (85 feet) high and 19.8 meters (65 feet) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city.

Der Trevi-Brunnen, italienisch Fontana di Trevi, ist der populärste und mit rund 26 Meter Höhe und rund 50 Meter Breite größte Brunnen Roms und einer der bekanntesten Brunnen der Welt.

Er wurde 1732 bis 1762 nach einem Entwurf von Nicola Salvi im spätbarocken, im Übergang zum klassizistischen Stil, erbaut. Er ist eine der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms.
