@desager1 I've actually seen the ISS around sunset many many times, and it looks very creepy and distinctive, once you know what it looks like, you're not apt to confuse it for something else. I've loved astronomy all of my life, owned a telescope for many years, grew up during the Haley's Comet buzz and it has always stuck with me. Many many times looking up at the sky I've seen things that could only be described as Unidentified Flying Objects.
i would like to share a sighting i had in 2008. i was at Edgewater by the fishing breakwall, not catching a thing. i looked up around Browns Stadium due west out over Lake Erie, how do I say this.....there were UFO's (at least 30) darting back and forth above the Lake. I did what any sane person would do. I looked around for other folk. not a single soul in sight. i looked at the UFO's not believing how brazen they were. these were actual craft. I kid you not.
Could someone please shed some light on why we still dont know what these were? More importantly, why did nobody from the public sector bother to examine these closer with some type of "high tech" equipment?
For those who are unaware, if you see an object sometime shorty after sunset (hour or so) and traveling in an easterly direction, it's a satellite. In this case it was the ISS, the ISS has been declared a UFO hundreds of times by people that have no clue about astronomy, such as the guy in this video.
Out of all the UFO sightings, very few are made by amateur astronomers, which is odd since they spend a lot of the time looking at the sky, probably because they know what they are looking at.
@2CHACHOUU Its you atheists twits that were defending the "no other life in the universe" mantra for years, not religion that is full of other beings. You cant accept inter dimensional beings like demons but you can accept beings that live lightyears away. Ookkaayy shmuck.
