Some final touches to make XP/Vista look like Windows Seven. Two things that I made for myself to make my XP computer look like Windows Seven. I am now giving them away free for you to download.

The two things are a Wallpaper and a Feedback button program (thing program appeared in the following screenshot: http://www.playfuls.com/images/upload/news/Windows7desktop.jpg and another one showing the full program). I have recreated everything to the best of my ability.

File Size: 289KB
Operating System: Windows

Feedback Button: http://r0qwyg.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pvVxo-XXBr3j5nJjw-57Y1yw7MgkMHcvPTtatxs...
IMPORTANT! To run the program you may require this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B...

Note that the Windows Seven taskbar (thing holding the start button and quick launch icons)will be 1.7 times higher. So I advise that you right-click and unlock your taskbar so you can then stretch it out. This is a good thing as you have more quick launch room and more program room. In my layout, I have space for 6 small quick launch icons and two rows of programs. This also allows me to display the day and the date (depending on the theme). The Taskbar is meant to have larger quick launch icons which you can get by going into control panel, appearance and themes, settings, advanced and tick use large icons. This makes all your icons bigger like in Vista (pretty much the same as Windows Seven). Warning: Most Vista themes hide the icons in the startmenu beside My Documents and My Pictures so it is advised you don't use large icons.

Another adjustment you can make is right clicking My Documents in the startmenu and clicking rename. Then delete the "My". Vista took away the my as everything had that name. So just do the same for everything, my network places, my videos etc.

If you want me to show you how to do any of these things, just comment and I will show you how in detail.

Exclusive to Windows and partially available to OS X and Linux

  • @osnick12 lol

  • @shooterboyz12 So many people are new to Windows 7 that they don't know it didn't pop out of nowhere. This video back in its day was to allow Windows fanatics to make XP/Vista look like the latest Windows 7 build. I also did it to show people that it existed and what it currently looked like.

I now leave it as a monument to what it did look like as 99% of traces of Windows 7 ever looking like this have disappeared.

  • @chrisybwell Why Many peoples are saying thats a windows vista??

  • @chrisybwell ok ok ok fine its WINDOWS SEVEN!

  • @shooterboyz12 No, you have seen the final release of Windows 7. I have seen what Windows 7 looked like when development began on it. Do you think that everything in the world just pops out of nowhere?

When Windows 7 was being developed it started off as Vista, the previous release. Then they began adding to it until it finally became Windows 7 as you know it.

But please, don't let my explanation stop you from posting the same thing again.
