The possibility that five suitcase nuclear bombs acquired by Al Qaeda from Chechnya rebels may already be pre-positioned for remote detonation in adversary tagets will inhibit attacks on Iran by nuclear weapons nations. Kevin Sanders, War&Peace foundation speaking on a Press TV news panel .

Wikileaks cables: Concern on missing suitcase nuclear bombs

US Cables ... "acknowledge fears of non-state actors acquiring nuclear weapons from lapse security situations in the former Soviet Union ,,, and "rumors of missing "suitcase" nuclear weapons,"

http://www.cablegatesearch.net/cable.php?id=05TELAVIV4304&q=nuclear%20sui...
US cables quote Israeli Columnist Shaul Schiff in nationalist, Orthodox Hatzofe: "The West fears that extremist terror groups might lay their hands on a 'nuclear suitcase' -- commonly dubbed 'dirty bombs' -- but it turns out that the West has very good reasons to worry even before those weapons are being used."

'Russian elements warned Israel a few months ago that several suitcases containing small nuclear bombs have reached extremist Chechen Islamists. ... the suitcases were apparently stolen in Russia."

"U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates has indicated that militant groups associated with Al Qaeda were trying to destabilize Pakistan to gain access to the country's nuclear weapons, said Gates when asked if he believed Islamabad's nuclear arsenal was under control...."

US has major concern that Pakistan "has nuclear weapons - between 50 and 150 nuclear warheads. What would happen, if this arsenal fell into the hands of radical Islamist groups?" The US intelligence services "assume that Al Qaeda will continue to attempt getting their hands on weapons of mass destruction."

  • i still remember that nigger lied in the UN about the iraq WMD.

  • - Not only ignorant but stupid discussions; because Iran has more than one hundred tons of enriched uranium, so they do not need a nuclear weapon... because one single mistake attacking them can kill 6 times more people than in War World II but in one single day... so the second day you will have India with 300 million people dead because of contamination and they will hit Israel with all its nuclear power, followed by Pakistan, China and others...
