HIA-LI 2011 Summer Food Drive
This video is to create awareness to the HIA's Summer food drive. This Long Island food drive is the second largest food drive in the country and the only major Long Island food drive in the summer.
Businesses are asked to take a box or a barrel. The food drive goal is 100 pounds or $100 per participating company. In 2010 the HIA-LI food drive raised over 95,000 pounds of food to help the Nassau and Suffolk County community. 95,000 pounds of food creates 74,000 meals. The HIA-LI food Drive benefits Long Island Cares, The Harry Chapin foundation.
To donate please call the HIA-LI at (631) 543-5355. To learn more you can go to www.hia-li.org
