Kiteboarder Catapulted into a Building During Tropical Storm Fay

all Im gonna say is watch out for god damn squalls and storm cells..

the man was on a 9m c kite in 15 knt winds and the winds increased to 50 knots by an intense squall during Tropical storm Fay.

The man was in Critical Condition and has now recovered

You shouldn't go out in weather like this unless you've been bashed up a fair few times in 20 knots. Even though you know to let go of the bar and rip the quick release the first few times its not your first reaction, the bar feels like something safe and people instinctively cling to it in a tight situation, once you've been ragdolled once or twice you develop new instincts.

yea bout our bad rep pulld safety for my friend it workd perfect!!! yea i pulled the safety on mine i flew a 9 yarga at dauphin i couldnt eject so i balled up in a ball and baild my board and sense i wasnt lockd n on my chickn loop it disconnected after i hit the water violent ride tho lol but its water so..
