Mario Lanza was a second rate singer. Herlea on the other hand was a very fine baritone. For this piece listen to Caruso, Gigli, Ruffo, or Bjoerling. This song was not suited for Herlea and is overproduced. They are the best!!!

Interesting voice, dont listen to classical but i love this song for some reason and i try to hear as many versions as i can. So far Mario Lanza sounds the best! But this guy is very good too.
