The Green Hornet 1940 Serial

While modern viewers may scoff at the subservient Kato played by Keye Luke (who would later play the blind master Po in the "Kung Fu" television series), the serial itself is better than the travesty of the 2011 "The Green Hornet." I'm glad they made Kato more than just a sidekick, but why would he be friends with Seth Rogan's take on Britt Reid as an uncharming "bro" and clod? Oh, and who could forget those so cool 3D effects of bullet shells flying all over the place? How inspired.... MST3K fans will remember the director Ford Beebe from "The Phantom Creeps" serial starring Bela Lugosi.

That Seth Rogan "Green Hornet" was one of the worst movies ever made. I feel more of the 1960's tv series.
