@22yonkers All i have to say is that your a fucking idiot! The beatles were around before the kinks were. In my opinion Elliott Smith Id amazingly talented, and so are the beatles. When it all comes down to it, its ALL great music. JUST LISTEN TO IT AND DONT COMPLAIN.

who cares that he took influence from the Beatles, who didn't?? The truth of the matter - Elliott was the closest thing to TRULY original music I've heard in my life. He was the mozart, the Beethoven of our generation - he was a true composer.
We will never see another talent as beautiful and unique as Elliott Smith - I say god bless this man, he brings out a part of us that is truly human and humane.
