Has there ever been a more satisfying singer/songwriter pairing than France Gall and Serge Gainsbourg?? .. No, probably not.

This song from 1972 is the last that Gainsbourg penned for Gall and comes right at the end of the first phase of Gall's career. Superb.

  • not a common song... amazing a m a z i n g gainsbourg brought light to the carrer of france by this time

  • It is amazing! The songs Serge wrote for her are in a class of their own. It was very sad that France was a victim of Gainsbourg's need for attention and scandal, but there can be no doubt he was one of the most original and talented songwriters of the 20th century. Serge and France enriched each others careers.

  • What a song! Incredible that this was just a b-side.

  • Great song! So far as I know, no one else has recorded it. Now, a more satisfying singer/songwriter pairing than Gall and Gainsbourg? Well, Greco/Gainsbourg, Hardy/Gainsbourg, Birkin/Gainsbourg, Arnaud/Gainsbourg, Sauvage/Gainsbourg--there's a lot of competition.

  • Et là...Elle savait ce qu'elle disait...Par rapport aux sucetttes !

  • Lyrics by Gainsbourg, music by Vannier ;)

  • After the scandal of Les Sucettes (The Lollipops, 1966), this song more explicit and more erotic: a sex (and HSDD!) doll who sings "that she shivers only when we touch her small balloons (her bosom)!" This song was completely ignored because France Gall was out in 1972, just before her meeting with Michel Berger in 1973. The song has nothing wise and no report with toy balloons or hot-air balloons! Gainsbourg (lyrics) and Jean-Claude Vannier (music), talented creators!

  • Super la slide guitar
