  • when i render it ust after we made the light go through the window at 9:59 it renders out black and no light is coming through plz help

  • Even if you had pre made models for the things in the room, it still must've took ages to build!

  • @TheLillianYoung Include ambient inclusion in your render settings, as well as changing the light's shadow mode to; "Shadow Maps Soft".

  • Thank you man.

  • @TheBornSniper This is what you get, for helping people for free.

  • Thanks man!

  • Tried again. After splitting (at 6:50), I didn't delete properly (the tutorial is a bit difficult at that point as it jumps to naming the layer). After I went back and deleted the proper geometry, I got the light to shine through. Now my floor shadows look funky, but I'll work on that. Thanks so much for this, cannibalz3r0. C4D is always the perfect app for quickies.

  • I must be doing something wrong at 6:50 because I'm not getting any light through the window upon render. Bummed because this is the exact thing I'm trying to do (get light coming through a window) and I htought this tutorial would get me there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I deleted (like for the 1st wall), but all that did was delete the actual window geometry. I'll try again...
