The video for "Reach Out" by Eleven.

RIP Natasha Shneider
(May 22, 1956 - July 2, 2008 at 11:11am)
We shall never forget you

LYRICS:
Trapped in a shell my intention is strong
With a mouthful of water I can break through a stone
Carried on a dove I have dropped from the sky
Now the ground is above and my goal is set high
Reach out with a kiss from my mother
Reach out just to smile at my father
Straight like a wand my magic is simple
Sensing your laughter the breeze makes me nimble
My colors displayed I am ready to travel
On the back of a bee all my children unravel

  • Did she seriously die at 11:11? I am sorry, if that is true, I will be fucking tripping. There are personal circumstances that would make that just trippy as all get out.

  • @deadpooh It's not certain at what time she passed, so they 'picked' 11:11, like a tribute.

  • damnn...these guys are awesome..where can i get the full album of theirs??

  • You'll have to try your luck on Amazon or eBay. There's not been an official outlet (that I know of) in a while.

  • Hmmm...YouTube's just told me UMG has rights to the audio of this video. I dont know how that affects anybody who wants to watch this - I just hope it doesnt block some countries, really!

  • This is one of the few albums from the grunge-90's that I still listen to regularly. This band was always underrated.

  • @MasterFreespirit Pearl Jam will tell you that he saved them at the time. The revolving door of PJ drummers has kept me open minded to all of the different guys and their styles. It is subjective, but whether Jack ruined PJ is not.

  • Jack Irons ruined Pearl Jam.

  • I consider myself blessed for seeing this band on stage. Holy fuck they THAT good.

  • Almost but not better than Jimi!

  • @JackRussellTerrier2 well pointed out. i concur,i remember this well in the summer of '93 i was 9fuckinteen.what great time this came at the end of rock, midpoint of grunge/alternative.....then as u said it all went to shit. but this tune is a keeper of that time.

  • looking up soundgarden, mentioned touring with these guys, looked up Eleven, saw JACK IRONS. (RHCP!) Sold!!!!

  • Great early 90's AOR track here that mostly nobody even remembers anymore. That's a shame how AOR & alt-rock stations threw this song & anything else this band's ever put out under the bus. This band & this song should've been much huger. This song only got as high as #40 on the Billboard AOR charts in the spring of 1994.

  • This my friends, (and th period from 1992-4) was a high-point for music, after which it was all downhill. I wish I knew if others covered this same song? Whatever th case may b, Hillary Duff's of th same name apparently wsn't connected, nor ws Iron Maiden's, much as I'd've anticipated hearing both versions. ^ video strongly eminates th atmosphere of that period which many of us nostalgically refer to as th "Grunge Era." The College Rock era of the 80's was a great time for music as well it seems
