with respect of course, Christians were first called Christians in Antioch. How can you believe Jesus is the Messiah and not believe in Jesus as the Son of God? Messiah means anointed  same as the Greek Christos. "The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh , which is called Christ, When He is come , he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto, I that speak unto thee am He. "John 4:25, 26.
