  • Chomsky is IRRELEVANT - he's past his time - He believes the gov't 911 story. If that doesn't tell you enough - then youre just a clone for the system anyway.

  • i'm just a clone for the system anyway.

  • So what you're saying is if people don't believe what you believe (and which you have no evidence for by the way), then they're "clones for the system". That's totalitarianism right there. Makes the 9/11 truth movement seem more like a religion dedicated to propagating nonsense that spreads like wildfire on the internet rather than dedicated to debate and exchange of evidence. And even I think the collapse of the buildings looks dodgy!

  • "He always argues that the US should follow what the US people want."

Yes, that would be participatory democracy alright. And Chomsky is right in his wish to see democracy.

  • He has a point however. Should public opinion be directly translated into policy? There's data out there showing the American public as an ignorant bunch (over 1/4th of people not even knowing who fidel castro is, infinite more examples).

  • LOL... yes those irritating "beasts in the shape of men" need to be told what to think. Geez the fascists are balls deep in your brain.

  • huh?

  • feel free to be lead like that sheep that you are

  • Since public opinion matters so little in your opinion, why have a democracy to begin with?? The people aren't exactly "privy" to the true personalities and capabilities of the elected officials either. Why let them decide who will lead them in the first place?
