@whoisthisgit Yeah, I thought that there was a theme, but thought it was simply "Normal-Type, small stage 1 Pokémon". It seems that you narrowed the criteria to PKMN that are available in the very first route of the game.

I'd say any X Pokémon only run has its ONLY difficulty in the patience of the player. Anyone can farm that Sentret, it's easy to do so, but not anyone will actually go through it.

I admire you patience, and your impatience that costed you to get defeated :D

@boitahaki I don't suppose Leppa-farming would fix that, would it? (Obviously, this won't work in RBYGSC, but we've seen solo runs of those, so I think I can rule out the possibility.)

However, this leaves us with a problem: Ditto isn't obtained that early in the game, so you'd have to hack it in.
