  • sweet drving mate!! how much did a turbo kit set you back on ya mg?

  • @Chrismgzs180

hi, its not as turbo kit as such its a completely different engine, reemove the kv6 and fitted an audi tt 1.8 t engine modified to 300 bhp, its a conversion offered by reyland motorsport .

  • Fantastic video! Was it costly to buy and fit the turbo?

  • thankyou.

its a conversion from Reyland Motorsport and its not cheap but it is great value for money..... and it walks the walk.lol

  • That was an awesome car Dave, I bet you must miss it. Yes the engine was swapped out but the thing that impresses me the most is how the FWD chassis of the MG ZS can cope with the power (albeit with the help of a diff). Loving the dump valve chirp too though it doesn't sound as nice as the KV6 did!

  • Oh my god, check out the Lotus owner bleating away and making excuses. you got given a hard time around the circuit by a 'lesser' car, deal with it, you should impressed and not so bloody childish about the experience. Cracking little Lotus though, a very nice bit of kit.

Nice driving ZS, and loving the car! sounds immense aswell as definitely being a bit of a weapon out there!

  • Nice vid, but i would still have the lotus

  • LOL, well for a start miss most of the apexes!! Not the worlds best driver in the 2-11.

  • Incredible vid. Watch this a lot to keep my inspiration up to get MG ZS Mk II when I off-load the ZR... and the insurance on a group 16 comes down a bit!!! For the price you can pick these up for I'd have one of these over the other hot hatches any day and spend the rest modifying it as you've done. Has the turbo made a big difference to the fuel consumption? I've heard superchargers are pretty popular for these too...

  • he is some driver i will tell you that

  • Even so. The MG wasn't shown up, especially when you consider the fact it used to be a 4 door family car.

  • "But anyway not sure what a "noob" is" <---- perhaps the worlds most "noobish" comment hahahaha
