@flaviusicafsz WOW! ! Thank you for ALL that information. I'm amazed at how little I know. And I was in Budapest, Hungary. Am interested in seeing Bucharest and did know the difference. Didn't know about the 3 kinds of gypsies. You gave me lots to read up on. Thank you for your kindness and I'll be in touch. (I'm listening to Transylvania right now, and dancing, in between! ! Transilvania is called also Ardeal or Erdely ( at least one part of it by other oppinion)

@flaviusicafsz In transylvania you will probably visit cityes like Cluj-napoca (simplu Cluj), Timisoara, don`t miss Brasov ( Kronstadt ) with nice Gothic- german buildings and placed in the Carpatinas Mnts

@flaviusicafsz Our Capital is Bucharest (ro: Bucuresti) not Budapest ( that is for Hungary ( Hu: magyarorszag ), i can`t figure if you tought it is Budapest..nor if you visited Transilvania ( Romania) or Hungary rom what you written.

@flaviusicafsz ...due to aour pride considering we are above them :)) infact the cultural mozaic formed by the mix of populations here, romanians, hungainas, germans..... (about those germans you can find very few nowadays they gone in 90`s ,& they were brought here in Middle Age to protect the eastern part of europe, there are some hungarinas also from that time established here, but many others were brught here later..also there are gipsies main 3 types of them, gabori, cortorari, suburbs-live

You are right, the country is called Romania since 1918, before that we were apart from Romanian kingdom ( made in 1854 from Vallachia and 1/2 of Moldavia (the other part is now Moldavian Republic) We are now EuropeanUnion and it is a quite well ..tourist can visit easier and students and researchers also thrue Univercity programs as Erasmus & due to Bologna sistem...

We like to distinguish from other romanians due to...

@flaviusicafsz Great you're from Transylvania. I've watched this film over and over and over again. Also bought the soundtrack and can't stop whirling and dancing to it. Got a question for you, being an ignorant American, but isn't it now called Romania (please don't be offended). I've been in that part of the country and am in love with it. I take it that you're in the Carpathian Mtns? Just want to know so I can visit. Loved Budapest and the music scene there. Tell me more, please. . .
