Background notes to the smear narrative:
£2 million over a ten year period pays for staff and is on a par with what Dan Hannan and MEPs from all parties get. A paying agent pays the staff and there's no second home or furniture allowance.
The SE constituency is the size of a small country compared to just one Westminster constituency where the average cost of an MP over a decade, before salary is around £1.6 million.
UKIP are the only party that want to leave the EU thereby abolishing their jobs, unlike all the other political parties contesting the European Elections on June 4th.
