I agree with you that the EU is bad and so yesterday. But my point was that the UK joined the EU -- and if the UK has changed its mind meanwhile, it should leave the EU, that simple. But Nigel has to organize this at home -- there's no use in telling the EU Parliament (apparatchiks) that the UK should leave the EU! But how many % does the UKIP get at home? 3%?? Makes you wonder whether the British voters just want a troublemaker in the EU Parliament. ;-/

Excuse me, but it was the UK that joined the EU (leaving the EFTA, which UK itself had founded as a "competition" to the EU), not the other way around. And why did the UK join the EU? Because it saw that France and Germany were getting too cozy, so it feared to be left out, not being able to interfere. You Brits have to make up your mind on what you want...
