@MrChriskenser statistically it's not rare to get first snowfall in October in Colorado. The average date of first snow for the past 5 years or so has been around Oct 19th...so yeah... The past couple of years have been dry and very little snowfall, thats all.

its not normal its actually rare i lived here for 5 years came from oklahoma and never had snow this early i got 7 inches out of this storm lol
