Episode 10 Forbidden 2/4

"okay, then what?"

"I insisted him to go first, I got so curious. I'd totally forgotten the reason why we're alone inside my room."

"How stupid was that?" she giggled.

I pouted "I know. Just shut it, Sel. Let me finish."--I ran my fingers through my hair, twisting some strands of it unconsciously--"Then he got panicky, he started to blush and sweat very hard. At first I thought it was just because of my tropic room, or the food we ate. But then when I pressed my hands on his face, he frozed. I panic, ofcourse, that was crazy."

"Ohgod, he's so nervous." she giggled once more.

"I guess so." I agreed. "Then when he had composed himself, he hesitated to tell that 'something'. I insisted, more like pleading, I wanted so bad to know what's bugging him. Then he took a deep breath and said, 'i love you, demi'"

Selena's expression was about to squel.

"I warned you." I reminded her, gritting my teeth. I saw her zippered her mouth invisibly, locked it with another invisible lock, and pretended to throw the invisible key away.

I giggled silently. "At first, I thought it was just about our bestfriend-ship. So i told him that I love him too, because he's my bestfriend."--I saw Selena narrowed her eyes--"My male bestfriend, to be exact. Geez."

"Very good." She giggled as I rolled my eyes.

"But he objected. he said he loves me, not as a friend." I blushed more.

"Ohgosh.." She distracted me with her confused eyes. They were looking passed mine, it was as if she's seeing something far away. She was so deep in thoughts which turned on my panicky side.

"Selena, what's wrong?" I shook her shoulders.

She snapped out of her thoughts and looked at me with worries, written all over her face. "Alex."

I didn't respond. My mouth dropped. It hit me, my head felt dizzy again. Why hadn't I thought about him? I'd been thinking a lot of things for the last few days, but him? Im not yet cleared with Alex. I knew that. You're so stupid, Why did you forget such a thing?, I thought to myself, gritting my teeth. Now I got more than two significant things to consider.

"What a great life I got." I hissed under my breath, curling my fingers to form a fist.

"And Camilla Belle." Selena added. "What about them?"

I groaned in the pain that strucked my so-emotional mind. "I dont know, Sel. Please!"

"Alright." She rubbed my back, trying to calm me down. "We'll plan something. We'll settle this. alright?"

I felt relieved. Selena knew what she had to do, Im so lucky to have her as my bestfriend. "Thank you, best." I forced to compose a sweet smile to show my appreciation. My panic was gone. What's left was chagrin.

"Let's dont mind them right now." She let a lil giggle. "What we need now is,"--getting herself ready, pulling away from me--"a very tiring slumber party!"

I knew where this would lead. I immediately grabbed one pillow and took my defensive stance. "PILLOW FIGHT!" I beamed out loud.

She laughed out loud, attacking me first.

After a very exhausting pillow fight, we continued our slumber party with pickles and one horror movie. Bestfriend things we used to do every slumber nights.

The long night had passed..

Settings: Living room; Lovato's residence; Dallas, Texas; 7am

"Are you ready, honey?" My mom placed one hand over my shoulders.

"Im not so sure about that, mom." I giggled very nervously.

She laughed. "Oh, you should be ready now. Few hours left for Dallas Cowboys Game."

"You're not helping." I groaned.

"She'll do great, mom." Selena came from upstairs, her things clutched with both of her hands. She's used in calling my mom, 'mom'. It was just one of the bestfriend rules we both got to consider. "Im sure about that."

"That's true, sweety." My mom agreed with her.

"You're going now?" I asked Selena.

"My dad's already here." She frowned a little. "We'll be staying in Grand Prairie for thanksgiving."

"Oh." I said as my mom dropped her hands from my shoulders and walked outside the house.

"Im sorry I wont be able to spend thanksgiving with you." Selena continued.

"Dont be sorry, dork." I laughed, giving her a warm hug. "You need to give some quality time for your family too. I can take care of myself. Dont wanna get them jealous because of me."

"Very funny." She said sarcastically, trying to hug me back but failed because of all her things clutched with her hands.

"You need some help?" I offered her a hand.

"Thank God you realized that." She laughed, handing me some of her bags.

We walked outside the house and placed her things in their car. I saw my mom talking with his dad at the other side of the car.

"So I'll see you after a few weeks?" Selena asked.

"Yes. And you promised me you'll see my concert at Wiltern, right?" I reminded her.

"Absolutely." She smiled.

"Cool!"

"And you're going to Las Vegas this Saturday?"

"Yeah. MGM Grand."
