  • I'm writing this as a gay man so don't flame me... but I think this portion of the interview is really poor.. Larry is asking all these questions about society and youth psychology... to a bunch of celebrities. I wish he was asking them questions about their younger years and their personal experience with bullying, and invite experts to the show to address the psychological and sociological questions. Just think it was a wasted opportunity.

I agree. Sadly, studies show that America tends to tune out once the celebrities leave. This is especially true of general viewers who have no specific attachment to the topic. It's why celebrities are used in telethons to explain diseases and world hunger. Educators can only hope that viewers will delve deeper on their own.

  • Woo! Go lance bass! Now if only NSYNC would get back together ...

He just volunteered here in NYC, calling people to support gay marriage. I wonder if he identified himself. Too bad there's still anger between the members, i.e. Lance publicly blamed Justin for breaking a promise and abandoning them. It's sad because Justin is gay-friendly (he was Advocate's Man of the Year) and the two could be great friends. There may still be a reunion, like Backstreet Boys/NKOTB.

  • @gleemonex99 What are you talking about? First, stalking IS illegal. If true, why don't the Palins have her arrested and get a restraining order? Liar. And where is the bullying? That publicity whore Sarah Palin CHOSE to make her children public figures Compare that with Carter and Clinton who have protected their overachieving daughters. Like Lindsay Lohan, Willow is fair game for Griffn's jokes for stupid behavior. She used "gay" insultingly and called a guy "faggot" in Facebook.

  • I would like to thank everyone for their kind words of support and advice. Since I posted that comment a friend and I started a GSA in our school. That has really helped a lot of people, including myself. Having a support group has really brought me up and to log on and see all of your wonderful words brings me to tears. My family will never understand and while that hurts me I have to accept it. I'm learning how to brush off rude comments and I am becoming a stronger person. I love you all.

  • because all sins are so good to feel. so damn good.. its so fucking hard to be a good person

  • Gay is a disease. I am not a bully, I am a confused gay and I've been bullied before. . . I just believe God has a better life for all.if us.

  • I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH LANCE FIRST STATEMENT. DADT IS AN OVERSIMPLIFICATION OF THIS ISSUE. Destroying DADT and DOMA is a good beginning but more work must be done.

  • It makes me sad when black people are homophobic because they no what it is like to be treated unfairly and descriminated against . As minorities we all need to stand together THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY!!!

  • @lgbtTV4 Thanks

  • @silverhike11 Exactly it is a choice. If it were a "birth defect" there would be SEVERAL articles on it in the medical field, people working on a cure for it,treatment, etc. It's a choice, just like what type of clothing you're going to put on for the day. A guy decides "am I going to get a blow job from a smoking hot woman, or am I going to put it in a guys mouth or perhaps bend him over and re enact that tent scene from Brokeback Mountain".

  • If being gay or lesbian is a choice, then that implies that every heterosexual man or woman must ask themselves and invision themselves having sex with a man or woman of the same sex and then decide to be a heterosexual or homosexual, however if you ask, or invision yourself doing this then you have commited a thought crime (sin). and the second you think this then you are gay and have homo tendencies. I asked a Mormon this and he told me that even jesus went through this, so GOD is a homo.
