According to one story, he bilocated his way into General Cadorno's headquarters during the battle of Caporetto, and persuaded the despairing general not to shoot himself.
No idea whether the story's true or not. But if he'd really wanted to save lives, he should have bilocated his way to Sarajevo and told Archduke Franz Ferdinand to duck.
