Straight from the IOSYS album released at C73, Alice → Sweet is a remix of The Doll Maker of Bucuresti, the Stage 3 theme in Perfect Cherry Blossom. The songs original title is "アリス→デレ."

I took some time and did the video editing and added the subtitles for this. You'll have to excuse the near-unreadability of the subtitles, but YouTube's low resolution and poor video processing reduces the quality severely.

  • IOSYS is some of the most awsome thigs in the world!

  • Marisa is just sort of the pimp of Gensokyo. so there are fan pairings between her and EVERYBODY. People mostly choose the Alice pairing because they've been partners in a couple different games and have some funny conversations (Imperishable Night and Subterranean Animism).

  • @RemixerAbsol Rhythm is not spelled that way.

    Nice catch.

  • kawaii

  • 2:26 ... is a word misspelled?

  • This has got to be my favorite theme.

  • i was playing a sim dating game and started thinking of this song

  • @Nazuiko her PCB profile says she was trying to make immortality potion, so...

  • how'd they get 6 yr old girls to sing this well?

  • For comment sake, Marisa would never actually die. It's what Alice fears greatly, naturally. But, the series greatly hints that Marisa's magick will become so great that she'll develop her own unique immortality and become a Youkai, just as Reimu's faith powers will continue to grow as her deeds pile up and the Touhou Fandom increases/decreases (both means would actually achieve the same end), and Reimu Hakurei will become a full fledged god.

  • @Shyreenify Alice in Wonderland is a very popular reference in both Western and Eastern literature. It speaks very much of the Western world, simply because she's a little girl who embodies the Anglo-saxon culture in a perverted, macabre way. It's also just a DAMN good story with a lot of unclosed holes, so the character can be adapted easily.

Look at all the English references to it, there are just as many

  • @gamemastersdred21 I know it's an old comment, but... Daisuki can be used when you're talking about something/someone you like a lot/love, and they DO say "I love you" in Japan. it's "aishiteru" or 愛してる.
