Jim goes wandering the neighborhood with a metal detector

This is a section of woods across the street from my house, I've tried metal detecting here before, with little luck, mostly old bean fields. But I got a tip from an old local guy where there might have been a home site or two. So I spent a couple of days tracking it down only to find an all TOO typical condition in these part...another modern dump site. Essentially if you moved out or even went on a long vacation your neighbors would be kind enough to fill you house and land with their donated garbage. Whatever used to be here is currently buried under a thick blanket of 1980's 20 oz glass and the occasional odd relic...

Fun to try though, you never know what's going to be out there until you go look.
