@untamed326 The 720r is made for one thing......Wide open throttle. There's a reason they have two versions. You can retard the timing yes, Is it the best thing to do? No....is the engine designed for it...No..When the camshaft is degreed in and they send you a cam card with the engine...and tell you what timing to run with the engine...There is a reason for that. As big a gear head as I am though...I'd do the same thing this guy did.....buy the 720 and say the hell with it (if buying a crate)

@Ls3guy Yes, I will make some more. I need to get a new camera first. My old one kind of broke removing it from the roll cage mount behind the passenger seat. I was not happy with the audio quality from that camera anyway. It is fully broken in now. Still have not taken it past 5 grand. 2nd gear is pretty easy to break loose without trying too hard while driving 30-40 mph. It is a trip to drive for sure.

It is pump gas friendly if you reduce the total advance timing and increase the jet sizes to make it a little rich.
29 degrees total advance is a safe bet.
I run mine with reduced total advance and a 1/3 race gas mix for ultra safety.
I also changed the plugs from a 42xls to a 43xls because the 42's were getting a little carbon fouled even with decreased timing and increased jets.
