Microcontroller video game system (game II)

Another game I programmed for my EES. See http://www.ees.intelsath.com for more information.
Now with reset button!!!

It is a monochrome game with monaural sound I created using an atmega328. The circuit has 3 MCUs (One for composite video, the IR receiver, and the other one for sound) and 3 LEDs (R-G-B LEDs) that turn on depending on some events of the game.

The controller has an atmega168, an infrared light emitter diode that transmits the signal to the game, and also uses an Memsic 2125 accelerometer for motion.

is there a cartrage or something it uses for games?

or is it just a reprogrammable MCU?

i've been trying to do that for a while now.....with no luck..... DX

@ChessPieceRook Well I suggest reading about composite video in general. How does it works, what are the necessary delays (timers), what waveforms do you need etc.
