  • If I was a helicopter pilot stationed here what would my job be like?

  • @SRVisthebest there are no helicopters at SJ. not based, anyways

  • if you have been to the tower why dont you get a video from there?

  • @kingkongtroller nowhere near as good a spot to get takeoffs from, and my 2 tower visits were only for a short period, and I was busy taking pics.

  • I used to be a USAF Security Policeman at SJAFB. Forgot how loud those birds are - Good video Thanx for reminding me

  • @ANDYLOOM lol i know you guys have a job to do, but why were so many such pricks when it came to pictures of the takeoffs and such? you can PM me if you would care to respond. thank you

  • are you on crack?

  • My brother was stationed there and would get me at the end of the air strip. There is not a better feeling than when the F15E comes right at you and you feel it in your chest! I might be the only female making comments hope you don't mind and I also live about 45 mins away!

  • when i was young my father was a project manager for some construction at SJAFB and he would take me to work and i'd sit in the office trailer stationed right beside the runway and stare out the window all day long watching these f15's take off. (needless to say, i didnt have to be baby-sat! i was glued to my seat!) the loudness and thunder you feel in your body is just in-describable!

  • 4 min of this and the tank is empty...

  • @EviLotus01 lol trust me i have been eyed, questioned, run off, bothered incessantly by SFs, sherriffs, even the AF Special Investigation Unit, but i was never doing anything wrong, so they always just end up leaving me alone.

  • @Philcolelough thanks man i appreciate it. i miss SJ a lot, been a while since i liver near there.

  • @kendall3451 normally they use it for takeoff purposes to get up and out quicker. in combat, at altitude, it greatly increases the speed for short amounts of time to, say, catch up to a tanker on track, or get to an area that needs a bomb dropped for ground troop support, or whatnot.

  • @mgross20 no clue who you are or why you think this is fake, but trust me, this is real. i have no editing software, or anything. plus, if i were to make it fake, why would I make it smaller, as you claim it is. makes no sense.
