Definition of "Random":
A few years back, a mathematical genius named Steven Wolfram wrote a huge book called "A New Kind of Science". Much of it involved randomness and complexity. The book, now available online, offers a definition of Random. If you're really interested in this subject, follow this link to this book's definition of Randomness:

That was awesome! You're a pretty good shot. What about using the words that were left?
I got the big dictinary the public library used when I was a kid. It was wierd to think I was looking up words 25 years ago on the same pages. To think what the book's history was. Each page had somone's short moment. The same title is cool, but the actual book is awesome. It's almost as if it was being held for you.

Great idea! How does one come up with folding a copied page, shooting on it and writing down the shot words?

I can't answer math questions, but I can answer this one. The idea came from the way that the name "Dada" was chosen for the art movement. There are several theories, and one is that it was chosen at random by stabbing a French-German dictionary with a knife, picking the word it landed upon. Who knows if that idea is really true, but I was inspired by it.

And you Americanized it. Brilliant. I'm sure you will soon work off the bad karma from shooting an origami crane, a symbol of peace.

Man, I was hoping nobody would bring that up. : / I chose that particular fold because all the other folds I know are far more complicated and are very difficult to do with out proper origami paper. (Copy paper is too thick). Haha, so yeah, that wasn't meant to be overanalyzed.

And anyway, I didn't do it out of violence, I did it in the name of Art! LOL.
