    Really good. Enjoyed that thoroughly. I have a keen interest in early cinema, are there a series of films i should look into other than the obvious ones like Eisenstein?

    There's a tremendous variety of great silent films to explore, covering a vast range of genres and countries. Since there are too many to list here, I'll just recommend the films by Feuillade, Murnau, Lang, Dovzhenko, Dreyer, Ozu, Melies, Sternberg, Chaplin, Keaton, Stroheim, Griffith, Clair, etc.
