FIVE YEARS AGO, I HAD THIS E MAIL CONVERSATION WITH MR. ROGER SCOTT CRAIG. HE WAS ALL RIGHT WHEN HE SAID HE WAS NOT ONLY TIRED BUT DECEPTIONED ABOUT THE CURRENT MUSIC INDUSTRY, BECAUSE ALL THE DISPOSABLE TALENT AND PLASTIFIED MUSIC IT WAS ACTUALLY PRODUCED. MAN... HE WAS DAMNED RIGHT! BUT THE AOR HAS NEVER DIED SO...

A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I WROTE A MAIL TO MR. ROGER SCOTT CRAIG, CO FOUNDER OF THIS TRULY GREAT BAND, TALKING HIM ABOUT THE GREAT SONGS I FOUND IN THIS ALBUM AND THE FACT THAT MANY YEARS HAD PASSED BY AND I WAS STILL INTO THAT SONGS. MR. CRAIG, A REALLY GREAT AND KIND PERSON, ANSWERED DESCRIBING HOW GOOD WAS THE 80s ERA, AND HOW THE MUSIC IS NOWADAYS DISPOSABLE.

Fortune is one of my best 3 AOR albums of all time, together with Asia- S/t and Signal-Loud & Clear.
'The Thrill Of It All' and 'Smoke From A Gun' are true pearls, but the whole album is magnificent!
Rock on my friend, Nightwalker!

I agree with most here, this is one of the best AOR albums ever. The song is tremendous but my absolute favs are "Out in the streets" and "Deep in the heart".

Now, as with a lot of you, i own the perfect cd reissue as well and is definately one of the most played albums of my collection.

Thanks for your quick replies guys, very much appreciated.
Check also the mighty HARLAN CAGE and 101 SOUTH out.
Everything Mr. Roger Scott Craig touches turns to gold.
It's about the most talented songwriter of the AOR/POMP genre in my opinion!
