This AMV focusses on Anthy Himemiya in the third season of Revolutionary Girl Utena, and how her carefully carved mask begins to crack and show the depth of feeling within. Dare she believe in a true Prince? Can her sweet Utena live up to her grand expectations? Can she ever forgive herself her depravities and betrayals? Not only physically, she craves protection.


The song is Mamotte Hoshii (' I want you to protect me') from the Utena Musical, which is one of the most beautiful love songs I have ever heard. The lyrics are as follows:
