10.50 microsieverts in Tokyo train

8-26-2011 I took a train to Narita airport only to find it was highly radioactive. My SOEKS Gieger counter was off the charts in detecting radiation. However the People sitting next to me did not care at all even after I explained to them how dangerous this amount of radiation was. Please make this video viral and warn people not to take the trains since they have not been decontaminated yet.

今日はランチにカレーを食べに行ったのですが， お店に入っていつも通りそれぞれの測定器で測定を…と思ったら， 少ししてすごい線量が出ました． Radi 3.00μSv/h，PM1405 1.22μSv/h，DoseRAE2 1.71μSv/h という具合． おそらく，店内の人が，放射線の治療もしくは検査を受けていたの­でしょう． そういう場合，病院から退院していい基準が「1m離れて30μS­v/h」らしいので， 点線源だと見なせば，2mで7.5μSv/h，3mで3.3μS­v/hくらいになります．

-中略- すぐ隣の席なら10μSv/hは超えていたと思います．

 平常時0.10μSv/hくらいの地域なので，30倍とかの放射­線量． わたしはそういう治療や検査で高い放射線を出すことがあると知っ­ていたから良いですが， こういった予備知識無しでこの線量を目の当たりにしたら混乱が生­じそうです． 店内や，電車内・バス内などで高線量を確認しても，そういうケー­スもあるのだと知っておくことは大事だと思いました．
