Look at the older people in the audience. This music leaves them cold. It is modern pop culture hype. It is powerless. I despise it. We need to rid our churches of it. It is inferior. It is not enjoyable to listen to. You have to mimic the original performers, right down to the ad libs, just to make it seem like it's working.
