Makes sense that it would work. It kills mildew in the garden. i would bet it also helps with foot odor. I wouldn't drink it every night because I told my doctor I was mixing baking soda and water and drinking it daily to change the acid in my blood to alkaline. He told me baking soda is too caustic to drink everyday and it would cause stomach problems eventually.

Baking soda is excellent for acid-indigestion as well, and is very soothing to the kidneys and colon. Take a tsp of it in a glass of water every night before bed.

Vinegar!!! The acid in the vinegar kills fungus! Baking soda is alkaline. if you put that on athletes foot you will feed the fungus and want to cut your foot off! Carry a clean pair of socks and keep your feet dry. Corn starch is a good replacement for foot powder or baby powder.

@indiglo1971 I learned about it from some Royal Marines, they told me that every sucessful army all the way back to Alexander the Great did it to keep their feet healthy.

A friend of mine insists that apple cider vinagar will do the same thing. I'll keep my vinagar for my salad, and take care of my feet the no cost way. lol
