I was at this match as a Swindon supporter and i can honestly say i felt gutted for leicester to come back from 3 nil down to 3 each then we get a dodgy pen, i hope they get back where i think they should be in the premier leauge,oh and i was gutted yesterday they beat us in the fa cup 28/01/2012/ hope they go on and win it.
I was at this game as a 14 year old Leicester fan. I've never seen so many grown men in tears as they were at the final whistle. The atmosphere was electric. The shock of going 0-3 down, the euphoria of bringing it back to 3-3 then the agony of losing it to a dodgy penalty was draining. In hindsight, Swindon played liquid football that season under Hoddle as player manager. He was the difference for them that season.
the funny thing about that match was that loads of posters and scarves were made before the game saying "LEICESTER PLAY OFF WINNERS" how ironic. my brother in law has the very poster made for that day. obviously hes a swindon fan, great game for both teams
im not a fan of either team but all the years i been watchin football this is one of the first games i remember an still one of the best games i seen quaility when football was still good
I'm a beloved LCFC fan-3 and to be honest I wish I was born earlier so I could of been there. the atmosphere when Steve Thompson scored that equaliser looked brilliant! LCFC-3
I was there and have watched this match probably 30 times over the years and never get bored with it. Amazing game, could have gone either way but the best team won in the end.
oh, and it wasn't a dive! he nodded the ball on and was "knocked down" :)
Come on Swindon!!! Paolo Di Canio's red and white army!

One of Leicester City's greatest loses. Typical never say die attitude I wish we had now!

Without doubt, a dive. I hadn't seen it from that angle before looking at this.
