@studioolympe No, the Klingons were definitely being attacked repeatedly. There was no "bad transmission" The Klingons were getting tossed about their bridge.

@TiberiusKardem To me it was the bad transmission due to V'ger anger, but maybe. Surprising that it could be attacks, as a single blow from V'ger let no ship at all on Klingons vessels unlike the Enterprise later : it's 0/1, exists or destroys at each torpedo.
You're right : the editing isn't clear enough, still, they shot first which is a strange manner to meet people at a first encounter. Then, ran as fast (ahaha) as they could.

@studioolympe Not that I am arguing with you, but the Editing was a little deceptive, they actually were fighting (firing and receiving attacks). During their transmission that the federation station intercepted the ships was visibly taking multiple hits.
