  • Was Climbing that harder than Pyramid and Capital? GOOD JOB.

  • @hwellsg

I thought Little Bear was harder, in the sense that the Hourglass was very steep and the climbing was sustained and the rockfall hazard was greater.

Capitol Peak was right there behind Little Bear. Sometimes I think Capitol Peak may have been physically harder than Little Bear, but the danger factor didn't seem as high.

Pyramid Peak was not as hard as either Little Bear or Capitol, but it may have been more fun. The climbing was challenging and exposed, but not terrifying.

  • I've heard terrible, terrible things about this mountain. I don't know if I have it in me to do it, but I guess I have to try. Thanks for posting this vid!

  • Holy shoot. Is this the standard route? How was coming down ??

  • Wow!

I did it solo in ~1981. I don't remember anyone else on the peak or any ropes there back then at all. I also don't remember so much loose rock on the ledges. It took me 3 trips to make it. Thanks for posting the great video!
